Jepson Holt, have been through a process of implementing the "Traction" organisation management process ( within the business. For those who don't know, the Traction approach to business management is designed to create clarity, simplicity and accountability at all levels of the business. 

There is a need to look carefully at the core values that make the business what it is and that drive all internal and external behaviours. In Simon Sinek terms ( this is the "Why". 

We thought this would be a challenging process; we booked a meeting room, stocked it with coffee and biscuits and sat down with pens and pads to grind through it. Less than five minutes later we were done. no confusion, no lengthy discussions it was easy because it was and is true!

This is what drives us and gets us out of bed each morning: 

  • Integrity. Dealing honestly and fairly with our clients, candidates and each other.
  • Intelligence. We know what we are doing, why we are doing it and who we are doing it for.
  • Delivery. Keeping our promises.

Stripped of nonsense and hyperbole, this is our "why" - it defines how we behave towards each other, how we think of ourselves and how we behave externally. The fact is it does not scan particularly well but it is not marketing guff: it is how we see ourselves and how we want to be seen.
