I was in Tesco Express yesterday, I had a bag for life with me and so I filled it with my shopping. I approached the checkout area and opted to engage with a human, I approached Margaret, best guess she is in her early 60's as I approach she smiles.
I pass comment as I am unloading my shopping for her to scan and then reload the bag for life, "we should have those scan as you shop guns here like the big store". She smiles, you'll do me out of a job... Will it? I respond. Do you think an honesty approach would work in the UK? You will be needed to stop folk robbing the country blind!
