It seems a lot people assume that when a woman makes it to the top the hard part is over. However, a study has revealed that women CEOs face a 1 in 4 chance of being targeted by activist investors whereas a male CEOs chance is virtually zero.

For those who don't know, activist investors are stakeholders who buy up large percentages of a companies stock in order to try and force managerial change, mostly because the individual activist is dissatisfied with the companies leadership.
